Alexey Kilin
General Director of SUEK-Khakasia LLC
His career began at Sorsk Molybdene Combine Works (currently, Sorsky GOK LLC). From 1987 until 1998, Alexey held the position of Opencast Mining Head, then, up to the year 2000, Production Director of Sorsky GOK LLC.
In January 2000, in the crisis, Alexey was appointed Head of OJSC Zhirekensky GOK, where he held the position of General Director until October 2001.
In 2002, Alexey became Head of SUEK representative office in Chernogorsk, and after its transformation to the company's branch, was appointed Branch Manager in 2003.
Alexey Kilin is the author of scientific papers in the area of blasting operation innovation, and, since 2005, the full member of the Russian Academy of Mining. Since the establishment of the regional industrial association LLC SUEK-Khakasia in the Republic of Khakassia in 2007 engaged in the extraction and enrichment of coal, Alexey has been at its head.
He has been awarded the medal of the Order of National Merit of I and II degrees, is Full Companion of the Miner’s Honour and the Honorary Worker of the Fuel and Energy Complex.
Education and qualifications
Alexey graduated from Krasnoyarsk Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals named after M.I. Kalinin, majoring in Technology and Overall Mechanization of Surface Mining; Mining Engineer, Candidate of Science (Engineering).
