Andrey Melnichenko’s companies invested $ 16 billion in Russian industry

EuroChem, SUEK (Siberian Coal Energy Company) and Siberian Generation Company, owned by Russian entrepreneur Andrei Melnichenko, invested about US$ 16 billion in the development of Russia's industrial sector, written by Lenta.ru. This was announced by Melnichenko during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

He specified that SUEK conducts two large-scale investment projects in the Khabarovsk Territory worth more than US$ 1 billion. Several large projects are being implemented in Kuzbass and Khakassia.


The volume of capital investments for the three current projects of the chemical holding company EuroChem is about US$ 9 billion, Melnichenko said. We are talking about the construction of a potash plant in the Perm region, the creation of an ammonia plant near St. Petersburg, and an enterprise for the extraction of potassium chloride in the Volgograd region.
The Siberian generating company, according to the entrepreneur, has already invested about US$ 2 billion in the construction and modernization of the heat supply of the Krasnoyarsk and Altai regions, the Kemerovo Region and Khakassia.
