SUEK, in cooperation with Krasnoyarsk region authorities, hasdecided to support local medical facilities in comprehensive measures for the diagnosis and control of coronavirus. In particular, SUEK has purchased and donated to the Krasnoyarsk Interdistrict Emergency Clinical Hospital two up-to-date mobile digital x-ray machines made by Matrix (Italy).
As Alexander Uss, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region, emphasised, such a combination of efforts plays a vital role in protecting the life and health of local residents. “This epidemic can be defeated only by joining forces of both businesses and individual citizens. Today, residents of the region must observe self-isolation in order not to overload medical facilities and gain time. Meanwhile, authorities, together with companies, will provide hospitals with equipment to help severely ill patients,” Alexander Uss said.
“In this situation, we consider it necessary to support the regions where we operate and where our employees and their families work and live, to maintain social stability,” said Sergei Grigoriev, SUEK’s Public Relations and Communications Director. “The health of our workers and residents of the regions and their trust are very important for us. Therefore, we identify the most pressing issues and strive to quickly find the best solutions to them, in the closest cooperation with the Krasnoyarsk regional government."
