On 29 November, the results of the annual Russian national survey ‘Leaders of Corporate Charity’ held by Vedomosti newspaper, PWC and the Donors Forum were announced.
SUEK came second in the 2016 overall ranking among 60 other participants. The company also won the category for ‘Best programme revealing corporate charity policy and principles of the company’s social investment’ for its ‘Young Entrepreneurship’ project. The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs acts as a partner in this category.
The objective of the Leaders of Corporate Charity project is to identify the best corporate charity programs and share information about them to draw the attention of the public, business community, the authorities and the media to corporate charity in Russia. The project consists of two parts – survey of corporate charity and a competition of charitable programs under appropriate categories. The result of the survey is a ranking which contains only companies with systematic approach to charity – leaders of their respective industries. SUEK has been repeatedly ranked at the top.
